Obadiah 1: 15-15-18 The Day of the Lord & the Future:

"The day of the Lord draws near for all nations, as you have done, it will be done to you. You drank on my holy mountain, now all the nations will drink their continually. On Mount Zion, here will those who escape, and it will be holy. Jacob will be a fire and the house of Joseph a flame, but the house of Esau will be as stubble. They will set them on fire and consume them so that there will be no survivor in the house of Esau." The deliverers will ascend to Mount Zion to judge the mountain of Esau, and the kingdom will be the Lord's.

From Jerusalem (Mount Zion) deliverers (judges) will govern the people who will have occupied the mountains of Esau (Edom). In the millennium, the kingdom will belong to the Lord and Israel will be restored as a nation, and will occupy the land, and be ruled by her King - the Lord himself.
When Edom was prosperous, one could have asked why the wicked do well, but the voice of Obadiah thunders through the Old Testament with a reminder that God will not be mocked, and whatever a man sows, he will also reap.

Daily Prayer: Father, help me to learn the hard lessons of life, especially those that come through discipline. Train my mind by your spirit to overcome the strongholds that keep me from living out a godly life. In your name I pray Amen.
