Ezekiel 40: 2-4 Vision of the third temple

In the visions of God he brought me ino the land of Israel and set me on a very high mountain, and on it to the south there was a structure like a city. So he brought me there; and behold, there was a man whose appearance was like the appearance of bronze, with a line of flax and a measuring rod in his hand; and he was standing in the gateway. The man said to me, "Son of man, see with your eyes, hear with your ears, and give attention to all that I am going to show you; for you have been brought here in order to show it to you. Declare to the house of Israel all that you see."

In these passages, and in particular those which follow, the angel of the Lord is revealing a third temple for a restored and regathered Israel. In that day, there won't be a divided nation, but instead a unified nation under God. In Jerusalem the third temple will be constructed. In the chapters that follow, the angel of the Lord gives the specific measurements of this new temple.
The location of the temple is not given, but it is my assumption that it will be where the Dome of the Rock stands today, which is the Muslim temple. It is my belief that that temple will be supernaturally destroyed, because it occupies the space where both Solomon's temple was built and also the second temple. This place is considered to be most holy, because this is where Abraham offered up Isaac before the Lord, proving his faith in God.

Daily Prayer: Father, all those who call themselves Christian look forward to the future with a blessed hope. In this time, all of your promises will unfold and the events of the Bible will culminate in the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. This is my hope for the future. In Jesus name I pray Amen.
