1 John 4:1-6 Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God: and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world. You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. They are from the world; therefore they speak as from the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God; he who knows God listens to us; he who is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

"You will know them by their fruit," is what the Bible teaches. If you are indeed a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit of God indwells you. You have heard and you know that the world is full of Anti-Christ's. Who are they, and how do I know who they are, and how can I protect myself from them? First of all, do not fear. Greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world." The enemy has already been judged and Christ's victory is certain. Those who claim that Jesus in not the holy Son of God and possesses divine nature is the Anti-Christ. They put on faces of piety and goodwill. Have nothing to do with them and remember to test the spirits, because those who are with us are with us, but those who are against us are from the devil.

Daily Prayer: Father, plant in each of us wisdom that we need to identify counterfeit disciples. Let us reject them publicly so that others are not charmed into the Spirit of Error. Sharpen our senses and demeanor so that we are Christian Soldiers. In Jesus name and for His sake Amen.
