Luke 9:49-50 The Church of Jesus Christ is One.

John answered and said, “Master, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name; and we tried to prevent him because he does not follow along with us.” But Jesus said to him, “Do not hinder him; for he who is not against you is for you.”

This is an important lesson for the church to learn.  Those who are outside the church my ask, “There are so many churches.  There are Baptists, Lutherans, Pentecostals, Methodists, Seventh Day Adventists,

And so on…”  But there is only one church and that is the church of Jesus Christ.  This is what Jesus is explaining to John.  Just because he is not breaking bread with us, does not mean he is not building up the Kingdom of God.  Come to a place where you can discern the enemy from the friend.  Do not say to other churches who name Jesus as their Savior that they are not worthy.  Instead, build each other up thus building the church in the world. 

Daily Prayer:  Lord, this is Your Kingdom and You are the King.  Let us worship You by showing faith and discernment concerning Your work in the world.  Let me be a source of unity here and make my words ones that build up and not to tear down.  In Your holy name I pray Amen.
