John 6:60-65 Belief Comes From The Drawing of the Father

Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this said, “This is a difficult statement; who can listen to it?”  But Jesus, conscious that His disciples grumbled at this, said to them, “Does this cause you to stumble? What then if you see the Son of Man ascending to where He was before?  It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.  But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who it was that would betray Him.  And He was saying, “For this reason I have said to you, that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted him from the Father.”
I'm sure there are times that you have said to yourself that this is too hard!  How do you think Jesus felt that when He knew that were those among Him that did not believe, despite His many signs and wonders?  You see, Jesus knows what is in a man, but rather than allow that to discourage Him, instead it strengthens Him to offer Himself up for the salvation of many. If you do believe, give thanks daily to God for being given the light to open up an otherwise dead life.
Daily Prayer:  Lord Jesus, You are the light of the world and yet the darkness does not comprehend you.  To those who have been drawn by the Father believe and try daily to bring life to others who may not understand without a witness.  In Your holy name I pray Amen.
