Matthew 24:21-28 The Great Tribulation A Period of Massive Revival

For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will. Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short. Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe him. For false Christ’s and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. Behold, I have told you in advance. So if they say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out, or, ‘Behold, He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe them. For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be. Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.

Most Christians believe that believers will not go through the period of the Great Tribulation. We hold that Jesus will come as far as the first heaven (the clouds) and call up His own to be with Him and will ascend with them to the seventh heaven, where God dwells. Meanwhile on earth, Satan is unrestrained and even in this period, many will come to faith in Christ as new converts, but will not be spared the tribulation. Greater numbers than ever before will be saved and he who endures to the end will find salvation in Christ Jesus. This sets the stage for the return of Jesus.

Daily Prayer: Lord Jesus, gather as many as possible to you in this period where man and women are saved by grace. Let them be spared the period of the Great Tribulation. Quicken our hearts not to be complacent in these times, but instead seal our eternity before Satan tries to bring some into Hell with himself. In Your holy name I pray Amen..
