Ephesians 5:18-21 Who controls your life: the world or God?

Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. The Spirit filled life should be a joyful one. Proceeding from your joy in Christ your mouths should be filled with thanks, praise and song. This is the life when the believer is filled with the Spirit. The Spirit has control. But in the world, the drunkard being representative of the world, they are controlled too. Not by the Spirit by by the power of the wine. But when the wine wears off, there is no joy that endures, only regret and death. Amen
