Ephesians 4:1-6 : Seven Unities To Be Kept

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Paul starts this discussion on how a Christian ought to walk. He follows is by giving seven elements to the walk of the Christian. The seven unities to be kept are: 1. Keep unity of the Spirit. 2. One bond of peace. 3. One body. 4. One Spirit. 5. One Lord. 6. One Faith. 7. One Baptism By keeping these seven unities, we will be able to stand against our adversary who is Satan.
