Luke 17:30-37 In The Final Days, Some Will Be Chosen

It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed. On that day, the one who is on the housetop and whose goods are in the house must not go down to take them out; and likewise the one who is in the field must not turn back. Remember Lot’s wife. Whoever seeks to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.  I tell you, on that night there will be two in one bed; one will be taken and the other will be left.  There will be two women grinding at the same place; one will be taken and the other will be left.  [Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other will be left.” And answering they said to Him, “Where, Lord?” And He said to them, “Where the body is, there also the vultures will be gathered.”

These verses speak to two things.  First, there will be a selection process for those who join Christ in the air.  The ones that are left are cursed because they have been left behind.  The ones taken are joining Jesus.  The ones selected by Jesus are those who placed their trust in Him and not in themselves.  The ones remaining have trusted in something or someone else and now will have to survive with that. In those coming days, the Anti-Christ will be revealed and he will have his way with the remaining souls.  Some will escape, but will give up their lives for it.

Daily Prayer:  Lord Jesus, now is the best time for salvation.  No longer are we under the Law because you have fulfilled it.  All we must do is to trust in you and your finished work  on the cross and we will be chosen by you as your own.  I pray this in your holy name Amen.
